Welcome to my website.  Born and educated in the North West of England I now I live and work in South Devon on the edge of Dartmoor. I have been involved in studying, playing and teaching music for as long as I can remember and I am active in many musical projects - playing celtic fiddle, jazz guitar, mandolin, piano,  I love music across all its manifestations - whether it be jazz, classical, folk, opera - each of these is a dialect of a language that speaks to us all.  In my own composition work I like to blend and mix, to meld and fuse as many different styles and idioms as I can...
